Update for our Members from Jason Vigiers, Managing Director

Dear Members,

It’s with a heavy heart that I write this email to update you on the current situation at Abshot Country Club.

We were advised by the Government on Friday 20th March that closure of gyms, bars and other hospitality venues was in the best interest of public health due to the outbreak of Covid-19. The timescales of getting back to ‘normality’ are constantly changing as this crisis progresses.

Our flexible membership give all our members the opportunity to suspend their subscriptions. If you pay monthly you can suspend direct debit payments which will then be reinstated when we reopen or if you pay your membership on a 3 month or yearly basis we can put your membership on hold and add on the appropriate number of extra months onto the end of your membership period.

I’d like to thank those members that have specifically requested their membership continue, uninterrupted, showing their support in these challenging times; this has been truly humbling.

Please abide by the Government requests, of social distancing or isolation, so this disruption to daily life is brought to an end and all businesses can open their doors to their customers. Your health & well being is the foundation of our business and ironically repeat the request by the government to try and exercise once a day at a safe distance from others.

Keep following our facebook page and instagram and check our website to stay in touch; our Instructors have created workout suggestions, videos and challenges, we would love you to be involved and please keep chatting to us !

If anyone needs any help or assistance please get in touch by email, the team are happy to drop off supplies, pick up prescriptions or can just call and have a chat.

Thank you for your support and understanding, for any further information please do not hesitate to email : info@abshotcountryclub.com

Kind regards and keep safe,

Jason Vigiers
