POOL UPDATE
Dear All,
We’d like to provide an update on the pool, but the situation remains the same. We can confirm there is a leak which is why we have to constantly top the pool up with fresh water and the temperature fluctuates.
There is no quick resolve, but we have negotiated with the Insurers to keep the pool open and they are happy to cover the cost of water loss until such a time that testing locates the exact area of the leak.
A diver will be in the pool undertaking investigations on Tuesday 14th February 11am-1pm when the pool will be closed.
When the leak is found (we think it’s the filter at the bottom of the pool) we have suggested lining of the pool to the Insurers, to repair the leak as quickly as we can. We would estimate closure to be 4 weeks and working towards the Easter holidays.
Any time period we close, the swim membership will be suspended and covered through the insurance.
We thank you for your patience during this time, but we felt the priority was to keep the pool open albeit 2 degrees colder than normal! Keep moving, keep attending classes and we will update when we know more.
