At Abshot Country Club your membership includes a complementary Gym Induction with one of our Instructors. To take your fitness journey forward we have a Personal Training Team who offer a wide range of expertise and knowledge to suit specific requirements and general continued fitness. Special Personal Training offers and events are regularly advertised around the Club together with small group master classes.

I have been here at Abshot since early 2015 but gained my Personal Training Qualification back in 2000 after my basketball scholarship in Spain was completed.
Since completing my qualifications my work has taken me to Cruise Ships, Australia, The Far East and all across Europe in 5 and a half years and have been lucky enough to train people in all different walks of life from The Senator of Texas and Olympians to people looking for dramatic weight loss or looking to gain some extra muscle for Summer.
When not training Abshot members I can be found playing Rugby for the Locksheath Pumas or on one of the local Golf Courses.

I believe that exercise should be enjoyable as well as challenging and that it should help you reach the goals that you have set yourself. I can help you with Fat Burn and Toning, Muscle Gain and Strength Building, as well as training for a specific sport. I play weekly rugby to a high level for Trojans’ 1st team and I therefore understand the requirements of staying at the top of your game. I can also offer personalised programmes to target any of your individual needs. I offer kettle bell and circuit classes, and I regularly incorporate kettle bells in my own personal training and client sessions.
My aim is to help you enjoy your training, motivate you if you need motivation, and to further your knowledge about different training techniques and methods that may benefit or interest you.

I believe exercise is for a healthy body and a healthy mind.I have been active all of my life in a number of sports such as horse riding, swimming and netball. Now, I keep active through resistance training, as I like to improve my body through its numerous health benefits.
After graduating University, I decided that I wanted to share my passion for fitness and as such I qualified as a Personal Trainer. I want to help individuals improve their lifestyle through exercise and to find exercise engaging, effective and to use it as a positive practice to help manage life’s stresses. As an avid learner, I will continue to improve my knowledge so that you will receive up to date information and skills in order to gain the most from your sessions.

As a fully qualified and insured Personal Trainer I can provide customised fitness programmes to meet individual needs. I specialise in core conditioning, functional training, kettlebell instruction and resistance training. I have been active all my life, being a recreational skier, sailor, horse rider and walker and I have attended group exercise classes and the gym for several decades! I have worked in the fitness industry for 3 years after my desk job contract ended and at which point I decided to change direction and do something that I have a passion for and enjoy. I decided that I wanted to help others to benefit from an active lifestyle and studied to be a Personal Trainer.
